Last Friday I got an email that I had been accepted as a Divas SnowGear Ambassador for 2015-2016! I’m super stoked and honored that Divas picked me to represent Wisconsin out of 1,700 highly qualified applications.
What does this mean for me you might ask? I get to meet some totally awesome lady snowmobilers, wear fantastic gear that’s made specially for women riders and scream from the mountain tops about how great being a female snowmobiler is.
Being an ambassador requires you to be one of the faces of Divas SnowGear brand while encouraging and empowering other women to get involved in snowmobiling. Ambassadors are to promote the brand by making appearances at local snowmobile events, wearing Divas gear while riding and sharing Divas’ story and brand message. We get to review the products and give feedback on how Divas can improve or what they’re doing well.
Divas was started as a way to break into a much needed market – clothing for women who love to ride and want to look fashionable while doing it. Wendy Gavinski started the company in 2010 and it has done nothing but grow since then. I’m excited to meet Wendy, the other pro riders and the other Ambassadors.
More later! Until then, I’m waiting for the snow to fly. 102 days til winter!
